Dan Hallenberg is a shareholder in Peterson Bernard’s Fort Lauderdale office and has been practicing law for nearly three decades. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in business/finance and J.D. from the University of Florida and has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1992. For two years, Mr. Hallenberg served as an attorney with the United States Small Business Administration and then transitioned to both trial and appellate work with the Public Defender’s Office for the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Thereafter, Mr. Hallenberg provided appellate representation with the Capital Collateral Regional Counsel’s Office, Southern Region.
Mr. Hallenberg routinely handled appeals in every District Court of Appeal in the State of Florida and has made numerous appellate appearances before the Florida Supreme Court. Mr. Hallenberg has also argued before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, Georgia.
At Peterson Bernard, Mr. Hallenberg represents insurance companies in first party property matters throughout the State of Florida.
