Golbarg (Gina) Riahi is an Associate Attorney at Peterson Bernard, where she concentrates her practice in civil litigation with a focus on first-party property insurance defense.

Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Ms. Riahi earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a concentration in Law from George Mason University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where she participated in the Pro Bono Family Law Clinic. During her time at the clinic, she worked on a range of complex family law cases, including an international child abduction matter.

While preparing for the bar exam, Ms. Riahi worked full-time as a paralegal at Florida’s largest family law firm. She then practiced as a Family Law Attorney, representing clients in dissolution of marriage, child custody, and post-judgment modification matters.

Prior to joining Peterson Bernard, Ms. Riahi served as in-house counsel for a nationwide insurance company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale. In that role, she successfully negotiated settlements and defended the company in claims related to hurricanes, water damage, and other catastrophic property losses.
